Terms of Service

1. Service description

Norexis is an energy identity platform that allows users in Kerala, India to manage home electricity, solar systems, battery storage and electric vehicles from a single account. The platform is currently in early access and features may change, be added or removed during this phase.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create a Norexis account. By using Norexis, you confirm that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into these terms. During early access, the service is open only to users in Kerala, India.

3. User obligations

When you use Norexis, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information when creating your account
• Keep your account credentials secure and not share them with others
• Only add energy assets that you own or have legal authority to manage
• Only upload documents that you have the right to upload and store
• Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access to your account
• Comply with all applicable laws when using the platform

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Norexis for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to access another user's account or data without authorisation
• Upload malicious files, viruses or harmful content to the document vault
• Interfere with or disrupt the platform or its infrastructure
• Use the platform to impersonate another person or entity
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the platform

5. Early access

The Norexis platform is currently available in early access. During this phase, features may be incomplete, change without notice or be temporarily unavailable. We will do our best to notify users of significant changes. Use of the platform during early access is at your own discretion.

6. Intellectual property

The Norexis platform, including its design, software, text and trademarks, is owned by Norexis. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the platform for your personal energy management purposes. You retain ownership of all data and documents you upload to your account.

7. Limitation of liability

Norexis is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free or free from security vulnerabilities. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Norexis shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including loss of data or financial loss.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. We will give you reasonable notice before termination unless your actions pose an immediate risk to other users or the platform.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from the use of Norexis shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kerala, India.
